Trade Secrets
31.07.2008Being 'in the know' is what we purport to do quite well so giving away our trade secrets is not something we do lightly. But we like our readers so we thought we'd share one of those secrets.
Recently, an invaluable resource for the PR and Events industry was launched and has made life just a little bit easier for everyone who needs to keep their finger on the pulse. The Handbook, a portal for accessing information, was recently launched and gives a new insight into the previously difficult to access industry.
An Events Diary listing all the high-profile events and all the contacts you need to get to them comes part of the parcel. You can also get access to celebrity contacts – now before you run off, we don't mean Johnny Depp's private number, although you might get his agent's - and there's all the info you could possibly need on venues. It's a hub of information which makes life in the Celebrity, PR and Events circle run that little bit smoother.
The launch of The Handbook was suitably held at celebrity hot spot Whisky Mist and filled with others in the biz swapping trade secrets while sipping on cocktails before dancing the night away to some pumping tunes.
The best thing about The Handbook is that businesses can list their company and use the service free of charge – a concept that was pretty much unheard of in the events industry before.
So, off you go but for goodness sake, keep it quiet.
