Smouldering eyes and little else were the order of the day for the faces on Carolina Herrera's catwalks at new york fashion week.

Herrera's feminine and sopisticated designs were complimented by the bold yet elegant make-up by MAC.

“The look is dramatic but with a softness to it. The inspiration for the collection was Botticelli and the contrast of black and white, so the look is a contrast of a strong eye
and a soft lip.” said make-up artist for the show Diane Kendal.

Get the look:

Eyes: Make them pop and smoulder. Use black Kohl along the lash and blended into the crease. Sweep black eyeshadow (MAC Lucky Tom)
across lid and under eye

Face: Keep it subtle with just a touch of contouring. Sweep sculpting powder (Sculpt MAC pro) below the cheekbone. Add blush to cheek and finish by highlighting the cheekbone.

Lips: Keep lips nude, this look is all about the eyes. Apply a base to the lip followed by a lip conditioner. Add a touch of colour with MAC Bubbles lipstick.
