Alicia Keys and Jack White have teamed up to record the theme tune to new Bond film Quantum of Solace.

The song, entitled “Another Way To Die” will be the first duet in Bond history and was written and produced by Jack White of The White Stripes.

Amy Winehouse was originally tipped to record the theme tune but was reportedly dumped by producers over her erratic behaviour.

The coveted Bond theme has been sung by artists from Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Duran Duran, Aha and Madonna. The Casino Royale theme You Know My Name was recorded by Chris Cornell.

Quantum of Solace is out in UK cinemas on 31 October 2008.
