High Flier
14.07.2008I love holidays to far away and glamorous locations. I’m not so keen, however, on trying to get there.
Long haul flights are stressful for me, I can never get comfortable let alone sleep and I end up stepping off the plane looking frazzled and bedraggled. I envy the people who start their holiday looking as fresh and lovely as they did when they were checking in hours earlier.
If there is one thing that makes me unwind at home, it is a little spa time. It makes sense then to convert the plane into my own mini spa for a relaxed journey and beautiful arrival. These high flying products are my must have in-flight treatments.
Rodial Glam Balm Wipes
Cleansing wipes are a godsend on stuffy planes as you can whip them out whenever you need to freshen up. Glam Balm Wipes from Rodial may cost more than the usual culprits at £14.00 but they have an extra special quality which justifies the price on stressful journeys. Not only do they remove make-up and general journey filth, each soft towelette is loaded with vitamin E and chamomile, so they are mega moisturising and won’t aggravate dehydrated complexions.
Sisley Express Flower Gel
Flying is seriously drying for skin, so keep hydrated by drinking loads of water before, during and after the flight. For some added moisture try a hydrating face mask. Sisley Express Flower Gel not only purifies the skin but it is deeply hydrating and soothes a parched pallor. Saturating skin with much needed moisture, Flower Gel is a burst of energy for fatigued faces which makes it a must have mask for flying time. It works in just three minutes, so there’s no need to feel embarrassed about sitting on a plane full of people with a face loaded with product. By the time it has worked its magic and you’ve wiped it away, no one will have noticed.
Pevonia Botanica ‘C’ Evolutive Eye Gel
After a few hours in the air it is usual for eyes to start feeling and looking somewhat worse for wear.
