Eccentric fashion designer John Galliano is set to launch his first fragrance at Harrods later this month. The perfume, entitled simply ‘John Galliano’, is a heady concoction of fruity and floral aromas. Notes of lavender, rose and violet are sweet whilst cedar and amber give warmth and bergamot provides a delightful kick to the ensemble.

The bottle, designed by Joël Desgrippes, is as covetable as the contents it delicately holds. Influenced by 19th Century draping and the artistic works of Boldini who was nicknamed ‘master of swish’ by Time Magazine, the bottle resembles an exclusive Galliano creation. Pink, purple and black set the backdrop for a gold rosebud crowning the neck.

John Galliano’s first perfume is a treasure; distinct, extraordinary and highly desirable... much like Galliano’s catwalk creations. Expect the bouquet to be gracing the necks and wrists of fashionistas world wide soon.
