Porshe Design's White Collection Launched

And it's oh so 007

All White

Bond may be driving an Aston Martin but judging by these accessories 007 may be heading over to Porsche Design for all his gizmo needs.

The new White Collection from Porsche Design has just launched and it's as sleek, high tech and luxurious as you'd expect from a brand like this.

The launch took place at the Penthouse of the May Fair hotel in London which was, of course, decked out in white, for the evening. While people sipped on Lychee Martinis, White Russians and Champagne; nibbled on strawberries dipped in white chocolate and miniature lemon meringues; models walked around displaying some of the goodies on offer.

The highlight of the collection is the white version of the P9521 mobile phone. The original has already been making waves as the supercar of mobile phones and this white version is a more ostentatious version of that. Not only does the display swivel 180 degrees but - here's the piece de resistance - it has a finger print censor. How Bond is that?

The white shake pen is another very slick item. Shaped like a bullet the cartridge is released for writing with a swift wrist movement. Another shake and the nib retreats back inside. Now we don't usually get as excited by pens as we would by say shoes or bags, but this pen is seriously snazzy.

Other 007 style items include a lighter specially designed to deal with stormy conditions with its 30 microfine openings and case made from unbreakable Trogame. An inflatable white jacket, wallet, cufflinks and luggage also form part of this indulgent collection.
